France elevates match-fixing to organised crime status

In their letter to the Department of Justice this week, a group of 50 U.S. attorneys general urged the DOJ to quell the "rampant spread” of illegal gambling by replicating online poker’s Black Friday of 2011.
"If you’re not licensed in Louisiana, then it’s illegal gaming," Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said in a statement. "I joined my fellow attorneys general in requesting assistance from Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice to address the rampant spread of offshore gaming operations across our country," she said.
