(HELENA ) — On Thursday, the Montana Lottery announced a new annual sales record, closing the fiscal year with just over $165,000,000 in total sales.
The strong financial year was driven by steady player interest in the state’s annual Montana Millionaire raffle, growing jackpots for in-state games like Montana Cash, and notable national runs for Powerball and Mega Millions.
In Fiscal Year 2026, the first $2.25 million of proceeds will fund Montana’s STEM/Healthcare Scholarship Program. The balance will transfer to the General Fund to be dispersed by the Montana Legislature. The General Fund amount will not be known until financial statements have been completed.
