When Allwyn UK became the Official Volunteer Learning & Development Partner for Glasgow 2026, we wanted our people to be part of the experience. Earlier this year, six colleagues were selected to volunteer at the Games.
One of them was Naren Kaushik, who joined the Medal Ceremonies team for Athletics and Para Athletics. By a happy coincidence, Naren was part of the ceremony where I presented medals for the Men's 100m T47 Final. Having been expertly trained by him beforehand, I knew I was in safe hands. It was a privilege to play a small part in recognising such incredible sporting achievement.
I'm also incredibly proud of our other volunteers: Arlene Forbes, Justin Oldham, Ravi Rachakonda, Arlene Jobs and Sara Thomson. They've all described being part of the 4,000 volunteer Legends as an unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to our Super Six for representing Allwyn in Glasgow so brilliantly. You embodied the spirit of the Games and showed the power of volunteering to bring people together and create lasting impact.
