Connecticut Lottery launches digital ticket sales and new website

Connecticut Lottery has officially launched its revamped website.

The website now features a new side bar where players can check their winning numbers for multiple games, including Powerball, Keno, Mega Millions, Lotto!, Millionaire for Life, Cash 5, Play 4 and Play 3.

Connecticut Lottery players can now also purchase tickets for all eight games on the agency's website. Players can pick numbers for games like Powerball or Mega Millions through the website and purchase a ticket.

To play online, players can create an account and click submit to register for a lottery account. Players can then respond to a verification email to activate their account.

Once the account is created and activated, players can make a deposit into their account to create their wallet. Players can then play any game of their choosing.

Prizes up to $599 will be automatically deposited into players' accounts, according to Connecticut Lottery's website. To see prize details, players can go to My Account > My Activity > Game History or My Account > My Activity > Financial Activity.

For prizes between $600 and $5,000, players will receive an email notifying them that they won a prize. Prizes $600 or larger will not be automatically deposited into players' accounts.

For same-day claims of Play 3, Play 4 and Keno prizes, players can call 860-713-2680 to confirm their claim is ready for processing. Otherwise, all prizes will be available to claim on the next business day.

To claim a prize, players must provide two valid forms of identification, one of which must be a government issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification are:

  • Current state-issued driver's license with photo (A "Drive Only" (DO) license may not be used as ID)
