New Jersey Lottery Debuts Jon Bon Jovi Scratch-Offs With $200,000 Top Prize

The New Jersey Lottery unveiled three scratch-off designs Thursday that feature Jon Bon Jovi. These $5 tickets offer prizes up to $200,000, and more than $12.9 million sits in the prize pool.

Tickets hit stores statewide Oct. 5. Each design showcases pictures from the rock star's concerts and performances. Players scratch to uncover game symbols that determine their winnings.

A "GUITAR" symbol multiplies the prize by five for that particular symbol. You must be 18 or older to purchase.

"When we announced our partnership with Jon Bon Jovi last month, we promised players there was much more to come from this collaboration," said Jim Carey, Executive Director, as quoted by Yahoo. "Across three unique Scratch-Offs designs, special events, and VIP Club opportunities, we're thrilled to give players more ways to celebrate the music, award-winning career, and New Jersey roots of a Garden State legend."

The musician shared his feelings about his home state. "I will always call New Jersey home, so I'm happy to join the New Jersey Lottery in celebrating the place that holds so many of my favorite personal and career memories," said Jon Bon Jovi.

VIP Club members can enter an exclusive sweepstakes in October to win autographed merchandise. Members must opt in to receive promotional emails to qualify for entry.

Those who qualify will get an email this month with a contest link. Players who haven't joined can sign up at njlottery.com and opt in to receive promotional emails.

Since 1970, the lottery has generated close to $35.7 billion for the state. These proceeds fund the public employee pension system under a 30-year agreement that became law in 2017.
