Sales remain up for the year-to-date despite a slight dip in November.
China.- Lottery ticket sales totalled CNY52.59bn (US$7.4bn) in November, a decline of 0.2 per cent compared to November 2024. However, for January to November, sales were up by 1.7 per cent year on year at CNY575.62bn (US$81.55bn).
Figures released by the Ministry of Finance show that welfare lottery sales for the first 11 months of the year were CNY191.28bn (US$27bn), a 1.3 per cent increase, while sports lottery sales reached CNY384.34bn (US$54bn), up 1.9 per cent year on year.
