Hong Kong Jockey Club appoints Terecina Kwong to lead membership and customer strategy
Appointment aims to enhance Member engagement, racecourse experience and data strategy.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has announced the appointment of Ms Terecina Kwong as its new Executive Director, Membership and Customer Excellence, with effect from 17 September 2025. In her new role, she will join the Club’s Board of Management and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
Kwong will be responsible for steering the Club’s Membership strategy across Hong Kong and the Mainland, with a focus on enhancing Member experiences through lifestyle, culinary, and racecourse offerings. Her mandate includes strengthening Member engagement in racegoing, horse ownership and equestrian sports, while working with the Racing Division to expand the horse ownership pipeline.
In addition to her membership responsibilities, Kwong will spearhead the Club’s customer experience strategy, aiming to unify and elevate customer journeys across digital and physical channels. This includes racecourses, clubhouses, retail, and telebet platforms. She will also take the lead on data governance and strategy, starting with integrating and streamlining data across owners, Members and customers to ensure a cohesive and insightful approach.

Kwong brings decades of international leadership experience in customer strategy, operations and transformation, particularly in Mainland China, Asia and Europe. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer of HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking and held senior roles spanning sales, product development and innovation.
She holds an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia. She is also a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) in Australia.
