Things are shaking up with Lottery leadership! Today, one of our own, David Aldag, steps into a new role as Deputy Senior Director.
For the past six years, David has kept our finances in check as our budget manager, leading efforts in budget development, sales analysis, and fiscal strategy. He’s worked closely with team members across departments to help us grow.
David brings a wealth of experience to his position, spanning financial management, operations, and organizational leadership. Here’s just a sample of his winning background:
- Spent 10 years as executive operations director for a large ophthalmic and optometry practice, overseeing nearly 100 employees across 10 clinic sites, a surgery center, and a real estate partnership.
- Served as chief financial officer for an early-stage development company in the HIPAA release technology space.
- Held several leadership roles in the health insurance industry, ultimately becoming vice president of medical economics.
- Practiced accounting for seven years and is a certified public accountant.
When he’s not crunching the numbers, you’ll find David outdoors—hiking, backpacking, skiing, coaching baseball at Conifer High School, or throwing a player out on his adult baseball team.
He’s proud to work at the Lottery, helping to invest and protect in our state’s parks, trails, rivers, wildlife, and open spaces.
