WLA RESPONSIBLE GAMING STANDARD
Lottery’s Private Manager Proud to Support WLA Level 4 Achievement
CHICAGO, February 5, 2026 – Allwyn North America, private manager of the Illinois Lottery, congratulates the Illinois Lottery on its re-certification to Level 4 – the highest possible standard – under the World Lottery Association's Responsible Gaming Framework.
This achievement reflects the collaborative partnership between the Illinois Lottery and Allwyn North America in implementing comprehensive responsible gaming programs that meet the global lottery industry's rigorous standards.

The WLA Responsible Gaming Framework evaluates lotteries across 10 core principles, with Level 4 certification representing full implementation of best practices in areas including research, employee and retailer training, game and marketing design, player communication, and treatment referral systems. Independent WLA assessors conduct comprehensive evaluations to verify compliance and operational effectiveness.
As the Illinois Lottery’s private manager, Allwyn has helped the Lottery enhance and expand responsible gaming initiatives while maintaining a long-standing commitment to player protection. This includes integrating responsible gaming considerations into technology platforms, retail operations, marketing campaigns, and player engagement strategies.
