According to the lottery, the number of bets and the amount wagered increased nearly 9 per cent from fiscal year 2024, cementing the state’s ranking as third in the country in per capita state revenue from sports betting.
Since sports betting launched in December 2019, players in the state have placed more than 107m wagers totalling nearly $4bn, which has generated more than $153m to support public education. In the past fiscal year, Super Bowl and March Madness generated wagers of more than $27.5m.
Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said: “New Hampshire continues to be the sports betting hub of the northeast, and we just refuse to stop building on our success. We are extremely proud to have delivered a record amount of funding to support public education—maximizing revenue to support the students, teachers and schools of our state is what drives us every day.
“Together with DraftKings, we have established a sports betting system that continually engages our players here in New Hampshire and beyond, providing countless opportunities to get in on the fun and the excitement of sports betting—right on their mobile devices through the DraftKings app or at one of our state’s five DraftKings sportsbooks.”
